Two days after PolitickerNJ broke the news that a building owned by Trenton Mayor Tony Mack was delinquent on city property taxes, the Associated Press reports on yet more scrutiny of Mack’s finances.
Seems Mack took a private mortgage on an already leveraged rental property and used th emoney to float his campaign a much needed loan. This story by Beth DeFalco raises questions about the loan.
This is not Mack’s first issue with campaign contributions. Last year, then Freeholder Mack paid several thousand dollars in fines to the Election Law Enforcement Commission over campaign finance reports that were never filed during his 2005 campaign.
