Keith Kelly reports this morning that Richard Beckman is changing the name of e5 Global Media to Prometheus Global Media. It’s the latest adjustment in a series of changes that have included, most recently, putting Michael Wolff in charge of the Adweek group of trade publications and, earlier, handing The Hollywood Reporter over to Janice Min and relaunching the daily trade as a weekly with an enhanced web presence.
Prometheus is ancient Greek for forethought. The titan Prometheus is most famous for stealing heat from the gods and spending the rest of his chained to a rock. Do with that what you will.
