In an effort to prove that the drink is unsafe, Brooklyn assemblyman Felix Ortiz went in front of NBC cameras and guzzled several cans of the drink labeled “blackout in a can.”
The effects of the coffee alcohol cocktail were not surprising: Ortiz’s blood pressure shot up, his heart started racing, he got a little wobbly, and then he promptly vomited. At which point the camera fortunately cuts away.
In other Four-Loko news, The Hill is reporting that the White House backs a ban on drinks that combine alcohol and caffeine.
