Is it just us or did the New Yorker website home page get a redesign recently? It’s looking handsomely spare–no actual content on the front page–with much more egalitarian proportions. Blogs, print articles, multimedia and the iPad app all have roughly the same real estate. Kudos to the fogey-ish institution for maximizing their ‘content’ ‘cross-platform’–it’ll do wonders for their ‘brand’ in the ‘post-print mediascape’. Or whatever.
