Video: Currency War Becomes Rap Battle

Here’s one of those wacky Taiwanese computer-animated videos, only this one is about the trade tensions between the U.S. and China. (It certainly seems as though the economic rap battle has lately gained currency as a means of communicating economic concepts.) President Obama wears a sunglasses and gold necklace that reads “USA #1,” and Hu Jintao raps with ferocity and rocks a necklace that says “Hu da man!”

Uncle Sam gets in a boxing match with a giant panda bear, and pretty much everyone at some point uses an assault rifle.

Hu probably has the best line: “Without Bretton Woods you’d be Argentina!” Winner: China.
