Newark North Ward Democratic leader Steve Adubato was at the Statehouse today, glimpsed in the hallway and later in the cafeteria with state Sen. Kevin O’Toole (R-Cedar Grove) and state Sen. Brian P. Stack (D-Union City).
Sources close to the principals described the confab as an “informal gathering. It can’t hurt to have friends.”
The Democratic leader also attended the Senate Education Committee hearing, chaired by his acolyte, state Sen. M. Teresa Ruiz (D-Newark).
