Congress is debating today whether or not to extend the Bush-era tax cuts.  Democrats are holding an up-or-down vote on extending them to those making less than $250,000 a year. Republicans, who want to extend them to all income earners, are calling this move “chicken crap.”

But showing that two can play at this name-calling game, here is Congressman Joe Crowley from Queens, making a somewhat attenuated comparison of the Republican Party to Leona Helmsley’s dog, Trouble.

Crowley is a member of the moderate New Democrat coalition, but here seems to channeling his inner-Anthony Weiner.
