December 7, 2010: New shocker: Gov. Chris Christie to name John Bon Jovi to the “Three Named Person” Hall of Fame of New Jersey.

Currently, there are many deserving people in the the “Three Named Person” Hall of Fame like astronaut Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin, actor Roscoe Lee Browne, prostitute Ashley Alexandra Dupré, and “On the Waterfront” actress Eva Marie Saint. “And Cosby show star Keshia Knight Pulliam. As matter of fact,  almost any of the kids from the Cosby show would qualify––if they were from New Jersey,” added Hall of Fame Director Thomas Joseph Johnson.

Former governors are not eligible until they are out of office for ten years, which means Christie Todd Whitman would not be eligible until early in 2011.

Was the governor upset that Jon Bon Jovi supported John Corzine  in the gubernatorial election? “Not really” said the governor spokesman Michael Drewniak. “The governor supports anyone with three names from New Jersey, in spite of political affiliation.”

The “Three Named Person” Hall of Fame is located in West New York, a three named town itself. West New York Mayor Silverio Armando Vega is very proud of its location, “…only in America can people with three names stand up and be counted. Whether you’re one-named like Madonna or Cher or three-named like me or John Bon Jovi, you can be proud of your name.”

Amongst those rejected this year for the “Three Named Person” Hall of Fame was Assemblyman Michael Patrick Carroll, who could not be reached for comment.
