So, New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys, it looks like you’re both back. And we couldn’t be happier.
You’ll both be ringing in 2011 at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. We’ve always thought of boy bands as more of a 2012 thing (i.e. the end of the world) but it’s a solid paycheck for you all.
According to the AP:
“The NKOTBSB just keeps snowballing … and nothing is as exciting as Times Square’s New Year’s countdown,” the Backstreet Boys said Thursday.
Great acronym, first of all, even if it is only three syllables shorter than simply saying “New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys.” Also, all of you said it? Like, at once?
We’re not looking a gift horse in the mouth, or anything. We’re just confused. Anyway, congrats!
Love,
The Observer
