U.S. Rep. Frank Lobiondo (R-2nd) has been appointed to the House Intelligence Committee.
“I’m deeply appreciative of the faith and trust Speaker-designate Boehner has placed in me for this critical assignment,”LoBiondo said. “The safety and security of America and her people are at the heart of every member of Congress. I accept the appointment to the House Intelligence Committee and its enormous responsibility to ensure our intelligence agencies have the resources and authorities necessary to meet their daunting mission.”
LoBiondo will retain his seats on the House Armed Services Committee and House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee in the 112th Congress.
