New York Secret Startup Milewise Gets $1.5 M.

Milewise, a stealth-mode New York startup that, per Business Insider, aims to help consumers with their airline miles, has raised $1.5 million in debt and other financing, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Listed on the form are co-founders Sanjay Kothari (formerly of Boston Consulting) and Vinay Pulim (previously a senior software engineer at recommendation provider Hunch). Mr. Pulim is also co-founder of Reble.com, which was bought by Playlist.com, and Isovia, which Motorola bought. According to GoDaddy.com, Mr. Pulim registered the site name Milewise.com on May 22, 2009.
