Staten Island Advance political bureau chief Tom Wrobleski caught borough president Jim Molinaro waking up Island residents with an “F-bomb” yesterday morning.
Molinaro phoned into local station Channel 4’s morning news show to talk about how the borough was handling the most recent snowstorm, although he appeared to not be aware that he was suddenly on the air, and so continued his tirade into his cell phone.
After Molinaro painted the air blue, the hosts could barely keep it together, but quickly cut off the salty pol, telling viewers that “he is probably having another conversation with someone else so maybe we will try to check in with him in just a bit.”
Of course, as Wrobleski points out, this kind of language is nothing new for SI lawmakers.
