The Attorney General’s office issued roughly two dozen subpoenas to employees and other officials, according to two sources close to the PVSC, not too long ago.

The Department of Criminal Justice issued the summonses and one of the sources partially divulged the nature of the investigation.

Other issues, like the selling of tickets to political fundraisers, may also be examined, the source said.
