Gorillaz impresario Damon Albarn used the downtime on his most recent North American tour to create The Fall—one of the very first albums written and performed almost entirely on an iPad.

Albarn made the first recording in Montreal on October 3 of last year. He made the last in Seattle, just 32 days later. But the best track was cut in Phoenix, of all places, on October 26: It features soul godfather Bobby Womack on guitar and vocals. There are 15 songs in all, and you can hear all of them today on the Gorillaz website (registration required).
