Former 3rd District U.S. Rep. John Adler has joined the law firm of Greenberg Traurig as part of the firm’s litigation practice.
According to an email, Adler will advise clients on “corporate, real estate, employment, and commercial litigation matters and on compliance with the Dodd-Frank Act and other governmental concerns.”
Adler was defeated in a close race last November, losing to Republican Jon Runyan, an ex-NFL lineman and rookie politician. Adler has been mentioned as a potential challenger to Gov. Chris Christie, but those hopes were severely tarnished by the loss.
Adler, a longtime state senator before winning the 3rd District seat two years ago, replaced Republican Jim Saxton, who resigned from office after more than two decades in Congress.
