Anthony M. Bucco (R-Morris)

Representing Morris County, Assemblyman Anthony M. Bucco is serving his first term in the General Assembly. He serves constituents in the 25th District where he and his father are the only current parent-child legislative team in New Jersey.

Bucco, a partner in the law firm of Johnson, Murphy, Hubner, McKeon, Wubbenhorst, Bucco and Appelt, P.C., is a practicing municipal attorney in private practice with more than 20 years of local government experience.

A lifelong resident of Boonton, Bucco is a civic leader, and community volunteer who is dedicated to his family. Bucco, and his wife Amy, have six children.

Bucco is a 30-year member of the Boonton Volunteer Fire Department and Life Member of the N.J. State Firemen’s Association. He has led several other volunteer organizations including helping to establish Daytop New Jersey – a substance abuse treatment and education program for adolescents. He also serves as a Morris County Crime Stoppers Commissioner and member of the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse.

Bucco also serves as a municipal Republican Committeeman in Boonton Township and is counsel to the Morris County Republican Committee.

He has also coached several youth baseball, soccer and lacrosse teams.
