Assemblyman David C. Russo has been elected to eight terms in the General Assembly. He graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1975 and Seton Hall Law School in 1978.
Assemblyman Russo was admitted to the bar in 1979 and is a partner in the Teaneck firm of Russo and Russo. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Executive Committee and was the municipal prosecutor for Wyckoff in 1987 and 1988. He also was the attorney for the Wyckoff Planning Board, the Bergen County Office on Aging and the Bergenfield Zoning Board of Adjustment. He is currently the borough attorney for Bergenfield.
Some of Assemblyman Russo’s various appointments and memberships include the following: president of the Bergenfield and Dumont Rotary Club, former municipal chairman and president of the Ridgewood Republican Club and a former member of the advisory panel of the Bergen County office on Aging. From 1990 to 2000 he was a member of the New Jersey Historical Commission, and in 1991 he became a trustee of the Bergen County Housing Development. In addition, he was a trustee of the Visiting Homemaker Home Health Service of Bergen County in 1993.
Assemblyman Russo and his wife, the former Rosemarie Adamiak, have two children, Heather Lauren and Peter Thomas.
