Moshe Altman, the Hudson County developer who inadvertently turned a money laundering case into the biggest public corruption sting in state history is due to be sentenced today.
In December, Altman pleaded guilty to charges that he laundered nearly $700,000 for undercover informant Solomon Dwek. Altman also pleaded to arranging a payoff to Jersey City building inspector John Guarini who was responsible for leading investigators into the realm of public corruption.
