More about one of the most important relationships in Albany, between the hard-charging Governor Andrew Cuomo and indomitable New York Post state editor Fred Dicker.
Upstate radio host and publisher Alan Chartock warned “[Cuomo] knows that sooner or later, and I know he knows this, don’t ask me how there’s certain privileged communication here, that at some point this guy [Dicker] will turn like a mad dog.”
Liz Benjamin adds this important note: “Chartock is no fan of Dicker. He can’t even bring himself to say the Post scribe’s name on the air. It’s actually bleeped out during this broadcast – although only when Chartock invokes it.”
