11:47 a.m. Veri is looking to make learning as addictive as Farmville. And another demo slide can’t keep pace with the funding since they raised an additional $100k last night. Some should make a startup that does dynamic slideshows.

11:43 a.m. Shelby is kicking off with Reece Pacheco, and this is exactly like VHX, even in the layout. Unfortunate to launch with a competing idea just days apart. A single social channel for web video, with the hope that branded channels will bring in the revenue.

11:33 a.m. Red Rover is a little different. They already have a million dollar customer, many other big ones and thirty thousand users. Kevin Prentiss: “This is my fourth company and absolute favorite.” Biggest round so far, $1.5 million from the most mature and polished company.

11:29 a.m. There are only two steps separating a woman from a new handbag. She can buy, or vie, which is an auction. Using the auction model, the service claims to up margins for fashion designers by as much as fifty percent.

11:15 a.m. “Used to be you could leave a comment on Fred Wilson’s blog and get $50k and then get passed on to Feld and he would give you $25k and then pass you on to Mark Pincus and Pincus would tell you to fuck off and tell Fred to stop giving out my phone number,” said Howard Lindzon, founder StockTwits.

11:13 a.m. CrowdTwist seems to be the most mature of the companies so far. They have partnered with entertainment giant LiveNation and helped the company double ticket sales over the same time last year. CEO announces new partnership with Sony Music and exits stage to big cheers.

10:55 a.m. When Brad Feld first met David Tisch, Tisch told him New York was different. Feld replies, Boulder could fit in this fucking building.

10:48 a.m. Dave Tisch demands to know who is tweeting from fake Dave Tisch. “This thing is hilarious, but it’s xxx-rated.”

10: 37 a.m. Friends List, Jonathan Wegener and Benny Wong, are asking for, ahem, raising, $300k. “we are a small nimble team and we love ramen.” Plan is to put Craig back in Craigslist and make classifieds social again.

10:02 a.m. Boom. First startup Nestio, which helps users coordinate and optimize the process of renting apartments, has “soft circled” $100k and is looking for $750k in all.

Next up, Roger Ehrenberg announces his IA ventures is leading a million dollar round in the second startup, Think Near, with $400k committed. The companies founders got a “genius grant” from Ehrenberg to leave their job at Amazon, and it seems to have paid off.

Wait, new slide up on screen. think near has raised $550k, thanks to some new money this morning. things are changing fast.

9:40 a.m. Over the sounds of smooth jazz vcs are filling in the front rows and leaning against the stage.  “Time to get my company oversubscribed,” says Joel Spolsky, who is presenting.
