The debate between Jane Corwin and Kathy Hochul out in New York’s 26th Congressional District is just getting underway, and it’s likely to be a spirited one.
What was once expected to be a walk for Republican Assemblywoman Jane Corwin has become a close race, with Hochul, the Democratic candidate, pulling even in several polls.
And, as the campaign enters its final weeks, the race is getting ugly. Last night, the Erie County Republican Party posted a video of the Tea Party candidate Jack Davis appearing to strike the camera of a “Republican volunteer” who was pressing him about why he isn’t participating in this morning’s debate.
