EVESHAM – Asked by a townie when the hearing on Supreme Court nominee Anne Patterson – announced at a bipartisan press conference last week – will take place, Gov. Chris Christie said soon.
He said state Sen. President Steve Sweeney, (D-3), of West Deptford, promised a hearing on May 24, and a full session approval sometime in June.
Although Christie hasn’t seen the scheduled hearing in writing yet, he said he expects that Sweeney will keep his word.
