TRENTON – Treasure Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff said the film tax credit program was ineffective, compared with other economic development programs.
“We’re not convinced it was worth the money being spent,” he said at an Assembly Budget hearing Thursday.
He added with New York City so nearby, “it’s very tough regionally to compete” unless much more money is put in.
“We have a limited bandwidth for economic development.”
