Former Bergen Exec to be heard for Port Authority spot

Former Bergen County Executive William P. Schuber is scheduled for a hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee later this month to replace Anthony Coscia on Board of Commissioners of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

Schuber, a Republican,  served 12 years as Bergen County Executive before he was succeeded by Democrat Dennis McNerney. The Oradell resident, who also served ten years in the State Assembly and four years as Mayor of Bogota,  is an attorney with the Decotiis firm. 

His nomination has been stalled for more than a year, but will be heard on May 31. Former Bergen Exec to be heard for Port Authority spot
