Governor Andrew Cuomo skipped the Legislative Correspondents Association annual dinner this Saturday, creating the chance for the leader of the State Senate, Republican Dean Skelos, to do some roasting of his own.
The highlight of Skelos’ six-minute video was his mocking of the proposal to have an independent redistricting commission redraw legislative lines, something currently done by lawmakers.
At one point, Skelos says new lines have already been drawn
“It even has a district that looks like Barbara Bartoletti riding Blair Horner,” he said, referring to two good government advocates.
