The New Jersey Business & Industry Association has promoted two members of its Government Affairs team.
David Brogan has been promoted from vice president of Environmental Affairs to first vice president for Economic Development and Taxation, and Sara Bluhm has been promoted from assistant vice president for Energy & Federal Affairs to vice president for Energy, Environmental and Federal Affairs.
In his new position, Brogan will serve as NJBIA’s point person on tax reform, economic development, the state budget and state spending. Brogan joined the Association in 2005 after working for Capital Public Affairs Inc. Prior to that, Brogan served as a senior research associate with the New Jersey Senate Republican Office and staffed a variety of standing legislative reference committees.
As vice president, Bluhm will add environmental issues, regulatory reform and DEP regulations to her current responsibilities for energy and federal policy. Bluhm joined NJBIA in 2000 and serves as executive director of the NJ Policy Research Organization Foundation, NJBIA’s research affiliate.
