Polistina has $100K more COH than Whelan

In their South Jersey head to head, incumbent Sen. Jim Whelan, (D-2), Atlantic City, raised $289,213 and has $147,395.73 cash on hand; compared to challenger Assemblyman Vince Polistina (R-2), Northfield, who raised $407,660 and has $250,054 cash on hand, according to the state Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC).

Whelan received a cross-section of building and trades unions support, including a $1,000 check from the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #9 and $1,000 from the New Jersey Building and Construction Trades.

The Republican challenger itemized $128,000 from Polistina for Senate and an additional $14,000-plus from Amodeo and Polistina. Polistina has $100K more COH than Whelan
