Independent candidates file financial disclosure reports with ELEC

TRENTON – Sixteen independent candidates running for legislative seats in both the Senate and Assembly submitted their personal financial disclosure reports to the state Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) this week.

The submissions include three candidates belonging to the Green Party, in districts 13 (Senate), 14 (Assembly) and 26 (Assembly); two running as Libertarians in districts 30 (Assembly) and 37 (Assembly); four running on a Constitutional Party slogan: three of them in 13 (one for Senate and two for Assembly) and one in 24 (Assembly); one identifying with the party “Eliminate Primory (sic) Elections” in District 31 (Senate); and one running under the banner that “Politicians are Crooks” in 32 (Senate).

In LD 14, Welzer lists his source of earned income as St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In LD 13, Zaletel reports the Estate of Jacob Zalatel of Daytona Beach as her unearned income. Lawton in LD 13 reports earned income from Preferred Mechanical Inc. and Weichert Co. Jacobson in LD 11 derives salary from Limited Risk, Inc. t/a triCityNews in Asbury Park and unearned income from Vanguard Energy dividends. Celeste in LD 4 reports income from Classic Imports of Turnersville and South Jersey Healthcare. Bosca in 39 reports earned income from Montclair State University. Spector in LD 26 reports unearned income from Social Security. Shaw in LD 32 gets Social Security and income from Suburban Propane Partners. Schneck in the 30th reports income from Continental Auto Parts LLC and AT&T. Seyler in LD 23 reports income from First Student Transportation in Phillipsburg. Boracchia in LD 13 reports eaned income from Innospec Fuel Specialities LLC.  Certton in LD 13 reports income from the Jersey City Board of Education, and Rose Ann Salanitri in LD 24 from JR Roof Inc.
