June 24th, 2011: NJ Lawmakers Approve Benefits Rollback: New Law Eliminates Medical Coverage for Democrats with No Balls.
TRENTON, NJ (Newswire): The New Jersey Assembly passed landmark legislation Thursday that requires public employees to pay sharply more for pension and health benefits.
“Besides raising the cost of medical coverage for state workers, the new law also eliminates medical coverage for Democratic legislators with no balls,” said David Prizby, Associate Professor of Economics at the Hunterdon County Community College. “That section impacts several Democrats, including the sponsor of A-4133, Assemblyman Lou Greenwald.”
This legislation may supersede collective bargaining, allowing the state to impose health care terms unilaterally. Assemblyman Patrick J. Diegnan Jr., a Middlesex County Democrat, said Thursday after the session began. “I challenge everyone in this chamber today: how many have even read the full 124 pages of union-busting activities?”
After reading through the entire 124 pages of A-4133, the non-partisan Office of Legislative Services discovered other significant medial areas no longer covered:
• No cardiac coverage for the “heartless”, which would concern all the Assembly Republicans, and several of the Democrats.
• No medical coverage for “dementia or exceptional memory loss”, for Democrats who had obviously forgotten where they came from and who they’re supposed to represent.
• No financial support for medical stem cell research, for those Democrats who need to grown themselves a spine.
