The president of a Linden manufacturing firm has been named board of directors chairman with the N.J. Chamber of Commerce.
Jeffrey C. Scheininger was named to the post Wednesday.
Scheininger, a 54-year-old Westfield resident and president of Flexline/U.S. Brass & Copper Corp., which makes industrial hose products and employs 20 workers, has been a member of the State Chamber’s Board of Directors since June 1999, the chamber said in a release. He served the past two years as the State Chamber’s first vice chair.
“I am humbled to become the chairman of an organization that has existed and flourished for 100 years,” said Scheininger. “The chamber does vital work and I feel fortunate to be an integral part of its efforts.”
Scheininger succeeds Verizon New Jersey president Dennis Bone.
