Feds Descend on Brooklyn Party Loft in Search of Anonymous

There were no arrests, but an FBI squad raided one of the down-and-out hipster party lofts at 248 Mckibbon in East Williamsburg today looking for hackers associated with the group that claimed responsibility for high-profile cyberattacks on Visa and PayPal known as Anonymous. They found nothing; the former residents, members of a rock n’ roll band, had already moved. According to the local news blog BushwickBK, the previous tenants did not password-protect their wireless internet connection.

The McKibbin lofts.

Hmm. Silly FBI, Anonymous lives in The Internet.
