Yoga gurus Tara Stiles and Michael Taylor didn’t need to bend over backward to seal the deal for their new Soho loft. The property at 90 Prince Street was barely on the market a month before the couple snatched it up at a discounted price. Ms. Stiles (who is Deepak Chopra’s personal yoga instructor and the newest face of Jane Fonda’s WORKOUT series) and Mr. Taylor paid $1.78 million for the 1,400-square-foot home, which was originally listed for $1.85 million.
Corcoran agent Neil Levine’s describes the property in his listing as the intersection where “Classic Soho elegance meets Chic modern sophistication.” The apartment includes a wireless shade and lighting system and every room is outfitted with sound system capabilities.
The couple will be able to execute their downward dog positions with ample space in the 534-square-foot living room. With exposed brick details, 11-foot ceilings and low-toxin paint on the walls, the loft is a yoga yuppie’s paradise.
The apartment was purchased from a Patrick Reuter and Rebekah Flohr-Reuter who bought the place back in 2007 for $1.8 million.
