Since people still seem to be talking about the performance by “William Powhida” at Marlborough Gallery on Wednesday night, and since it’s Friday afternoon, we thought we’d share this trailer from 2009 featuring what appears to be the same actor.

The trailer is for a fake eponymous movie and was made for an exhibition by the artist at Charlie James Gallery in Los Angeles. The bit is largely the same as it was on Wednesday night, though presumably it’s less offensive since he’s not actually blowing smoke in your face. There’s cocaine, there’s Jameson, and Mr. “Powhida” literally plays a guitar slide at one point. Another scene has him wandering past a Jeff Koons balloon dog.

“Fucking blue dog?” he says into a whiskey glass in the following clip, while receiving a massage from a woman in a bikini. “Bullshit.”
