At this week’s luncheon in her honor, Gloria Steinem scooped herself by announcing to The Observer that she had an Op-Ed forthcoming in this week’s Sunday Times about her visit to South Korea, where she witnessed women’s groups fighting for peace. We asked her about her statements regarding the upcoming Playboy Club TV series (she’s, unsurprisingly, against it, as a former Bunny herself).
“Here’s the truth of the matter, that issue–“she meant Korean reunification”–is, a thousand times more interesting than the Playboy Club series. So why spend time…–I’d say just don’t write about it!”
We sort of obliged?
