In LD14, Kanka Campaign launches cable TV ad

Trying to get traction in his challenge of state Sen. Linda Greenstein, Richard Kanka of Hamilton launched the first television ad of the 2011 campaign cycle today, which will begin to air on cable channels in the 14th District, according to his campaign.

“A New Kind of Leader,” highlights the Kanka family’s work passing Megan’s Law, a national law named in honor of their murdered daughter that gives residents access to information on registered sex offenders living in their neighborhood.

Campaign manager Ben DeMarzo said the ad portrays testimonials of lifelong Hamilton residents and members of the Kanka family, “who commend the courage and leadership Rich Kanka showed as an average citizen uniting the community to protect children from convicted predators.”
