In LD7, nurses endorse Allen

State Sen. Diane Allen (R-7) today accepted the endorsement of the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an organization that represents 110,000 statewide.

“I am honored to receive the support of NJSNA, a group with which I have worked closely over the years to advance the nursing profession in this state,” said Allen.  “There is a shortage of nurses in New Jersey, and we are competing against other states to attract and retain the best and the brightest in this field.

“I look forward to working with the Association to advance legislation that improves health and safety standards within hospitals, encourages more young people to enter the nursing profession, and that lowers the cost of living here in New Jersey so that nurses can afford to live and work in our state.”
