Gabriel Sherman, New York contributing editor, married Jennifer Stahl, New Yorker fact-checker on Saturday, at the Round Barn Farm bed and breakfast in Waitsfield, Vermont. Yvette Siegert, a friend of the couple who is also on the editorial staff of The New Yorker, read passages from the Gospel of John, and the event was announced in the New York Times, about which Mr. Sherman (also a former Observer media reporter) writes with aplomb.
Mazel tov to the happy and powerful couple, and to Nick Davies et al: Kindly put any massive Rupert Murdoch scoops on hold, at least until Mr. Sherman is done honeymooning.
