Sources are telling PolitickerNJ.com that veteran Assemblywoman Charlotte Vandervalk, (R-39), Westwood, may not run again.

She’s “weighing her options” right now, said a source close to the assemblywoman, a ticketmate of state Sen. Gerry Cardinale, (R-39), Demarest.

Vandervalk is at a crossroads and attenpting to figure out whether or not she wants to continue serving in the Legislature, said the source.

Cardinale is said to very much favor Vandervalk staying on the ticket, said another source.

The assemblywoman has told fellow party leaders that she intends to make a decision by Friday.
