On a question from a former educator in the Elizabeth Schools System, Gov. Chris Christie acknowledged the arrest today of a member of the Elizabeth Board of Education.
But he stopped short of criticizing the school system or tearing into details.
“It’s not my job,” Christie said. “I don’t want anyone to think I’m putting my thumb on the scale for things to go one way or the other.”
