Law enforcement authorities this morning arrested Elizabeth Board of Education president Marie Munn on state charges of lying to obtain free federally subsidized lunches for her two children, according to veteran reporter Ted Sherman of the Star-Ledger.
“Also charged was the ex-wife of a school principal whose daughter was also receiving free lunch, along with the husband of another supervisor whose daughter had received reduced-cost meals under the program that helps feed the children of needy families,” according to Sherman.
