This was an inaugural game with all the proceeds going to benefit the Widows of 9/11 Charity.

The game was held in baseball-storied Hoboken, where Assemblyman Ruben Ramos (D-33) threw out the first pitch.

Behind the leadership of NJYDA President Chris James, ace right-hander Kari Osmond put a decided punctuation point on the N.J. win when she struck out the final batter of the game.

Other highlights included the inside-the-park home run by former N.J. Young Dem president Adam Neary and a towering center field bomb by Mike Makarski.
