Sheridan to leave Drinker Biddle for powerful DC-based firm

Republican attorney Mark Sheridan is about to change his place of employment.

Next month, Sheridan will leave Drinker Biddle and go to work for Patton Boggs.

Sheridan was the lead attorney for the GOP in the Carl Lewis case. He successfully represented the Burlington County GOP and the Republican to back up LG Kim Guadagno’s decision that Carl Lewis is not a legal resident of NJ and prevent him from running for the state senate in LD8.

The powerful law firm has a rent headline-generating connection to the Christie administration.

Governor Chris Christie last year hired Patton Boggs to challenge a the federal government’s ruling that New Jersey needs to pay $271 million in losses following the Republican governor’s decision to kill the ARC rail tunnel.
