State Assemblyman Jay Webber has been invited to the prestigious Aspen Institute as part of the bi-partisan Aspen-Rodel Fellowship program.
Webber is one of 24 lawmakers from around the country dubbed “rising stars” by the institute.
Other officials invited to the program this year include Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, the oldest son of Vice President Joe Biden, and California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Past New Jersey lawmakers invited to the program include State Sen. Tom Kean Jr., former State Sen. Ellen Karcher, current State Sen. Jen Beck, who defeated Karcher to win her seat, and former State Sen. Bill Baroni, who was an Assemblyman when he was invited.
