Yesterday evening, Jay McInerney and jewelry magnate Waris Ahluwalia hosted a cocktail party celebrating the U.S. edition of The Luxury Collection: Destination Guide, a series of travel books from Assouline. A bevy of luxe loving New Yorkers and celebrities turned out for the occasion, with guests including Mary Louise Parker, Debra Messing, Stefano Tonchi, Liliana Cavendish, Wes Gordon and Candace Bushnell.
