Gloucester Democrats stacked the most money from Jan. 1 through Sept. 30 to earn the top spot as the county party committee with the most money raised, according to the state Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC).
Senate President Steve Sweeney’s home county organization raised $409,725 and has $234,332 cash-on-hand.
Burlington Republicans bagged $399,695 ($19,046 cash-on-hand) to earn the second spot.
Bergen Dems raised $372,838 followed by Camden, which raised $371,355, Middlesex at $354,155 and Passaic, which raised $338,600.
Passaic Democrats have the most cash-on-hand among all organizations from both parties with $506,407.
After Burlington, the Bergen GOP organization raised the most among 21 Republican organizations with $187,523, with $56,871 cash-on-hand, followed by Somerset ($181,951 raised, $125,610 cash on hand).
