Borough President Marty Markowitz sent out this picture earlier today, of the LNTC’s flag flying over Boro Hall, “in solidarity with the people of Libya in the wake of the death of deposed leader Moammar Gadhafi.”

It’s been a few years, but if memory serves from our scouting days, this arrangement would actually suggest the city is subservient to the new Libyan government, since their flag flies above ours. Talk about a bloodless coup.
