This is how the world ends: not with a whimper but with a bongo.

Last week, Community Board 1 – the poor souls who have to mediate between Occupy Wall Street members and local residents – told drum circle enthusiasts Pulse that because of noise issues, they would have to limit their music to only two hours a day. Only two hours? That’s barely time for one Phish song! Pulse wants four hours, and tonight they’re going back to CB 1 to make their case.

At the very least, it should make for some pretty interesting entertainment. Head down to the auditorium of P.S. 234 (located at 292 Greenwich Street) at 6:15 to watch the show. Bring popcorn…you’re already late! Occupy Wall Street's Drum Circle Appeals to Community Board For Longer Jam Sessions
