Operation #Occupy Wall Street Cleanup Hits the New York Stock Exchange

On a break from scrubbing the filthy marble at Zuccotti Park, one protester made his way to the fenced-in area around the N.Y.S.E. with a broom and a trash can. “I heard Mayor Bloomberg wanted to help clean up the city, so I decide to lend a hand,” writes the nameless protester who uploaded a video of himself cleaning up the manure dropped on the street in front of the stock exchange by the N.Y.P.D.’s hardy steeds.

“Apparently cleaning up the horse poo of the officers of New York is official business and it cannot be done by good samaritans,” the man behind the camera says after the police asked the protester to leave.
