The Building Boom's Inevitable Fall Out

Ah, the recession. It seems like only yesterday boffo new buildings were flying up all over town.

Curbed has a nice list of the 10 New York buildings that have fared the worst since the downturn, which includes all the usual suspect, like Robert Scarano and Karl Fischer, but there are also some big disappointments, like SHoP and Richard Meier falling short.

This list obviously could have climbed to 100 or even 1,000, but we think it’s worth it just for the side-by-side of Julian Schnabel’s inimitable Palazzo Chupi.
