What he's doing: Being paid high tribute as the King Lord of Comic Con, signing autographs.
Where to find him: Seriously, he will be all over: doing podcasts, panels, opening remarks, avoiding fanboys, etc. Check here for a full listing.
What he's doing: The comic convention staple and only guy from Star Wars who doesn't seem like kind of a dick, Mr. Hamill will be autographing whatever Lucas memorabilia you got.
Where to find him: Friday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Autographing Table 2
What he's doing: Fulfilling his obligation on a Marvel panel about the upcoming Avengers film. Macking on young female journalists.
Where to find him: Saturday, 6:30p.m. at the IGN Theater; wherever there is an open bar.
Kevin Smith, unsurprisingly, will be at Comic Con.
What he's doing: Performing a live podcast of their show, Jay and Silent Bob Get Old.
Where to find him: Friday at 7 p.m., IGN Theater. And then roaming the vendors "Cultyard" for the rest of the weekend.

What he's doing: A panel titled "John Landis & Monsters in Movies, where the director of American Werewolf in London will discuss the best creatures in cinema history.
Where to find him: Saturday, 3:45 pm in room 1A03
What they're doing: A Conan the Barbarian panel, which for some reason is still happening even though the movie already bombed.
Where to find them: Sunday at 10:00 a.m., room 1A22. Ms. McGowan will also be doing autographs at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at Autograph Table 11. Mr. Momoa will be signing all your Game of Thrones stuff in Dothraki on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 5p.m. at Autographing Table 10.
What she's doing: Autographing stuff for Josh Whedon fans.
Where to find her: Friday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Autographing Table 5.

What they're doing: Attending a back-to-back screening of the new season of Portlandia and Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret and comedy panel.

Today is the official start date of  New York’s annual Comic Con, the sad stepbrother of San Diego’s way more famous nerd convention. Still, New York has its fair share of amazing graphic novel writers and artists (which was what Comic Con is all about, right?), and DC and Marvel have spent a good chunk of cash flying out some big name celebrities for panels as well.

There’s also the indie comedy factor: IFC and Adult Swim have their hipster lineup of comedians, including David Cross, Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein, Patton Oswalt, Kristen Schaal, etc.
